Important Update on EU Import Regulations

Starting December 1, 2024, Viasea will implement new requirements in line with the European Union’s updated Import Control System 2 (ICS2) standards. These regulations will affect all shipments to the EU from non-EU countries, requiring customers to provide additional information for compliance. Specifically, detailed commodity codes and full addresses for buyers and sellers will be needed.

Viasea Shipping is pleased to announce a significant update to its operations in Poland. Effective from October 11, 2024, all deliveries and pick-ups will be transferred from the Gdynia Container Terminal (GCT) to the Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) located at ul. Kwiatkowskiego 60, 81-127 Gdynia, Poland. This strategic move aims to enhance service efficiency and provide customers with an improved shipping experience.

Enova is providing substantial support of a total of 171.8 million Norwegian kroner to Viasea Shipping for the acquisition of two hydrogen-powered container ships. Once completed, these ships will be deployed in our existing routes between Norway, the Baltics and Northern Europe.
